This past Friday I went to a new Mexican restaurant, Gran Electrica, which opened up in the neighborhood.
We started off with margaritas.
I absolutely loved the remolacha, which is made with beet juice. I thought it might be too sweet, but it had just the right amount of sweetness and tartness. The drinks were also pretty stiff…
Next, we had the carnitas and fish tacos. The fish tacos were really amazing and just like eating fish and chips in a tortilla. It was a lot of fun to try all the different taco sauces too!
The service was knowledgeable and prompt and by the time we left it was extremely crowded. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu.
