Jillian Michaels, a dietitian from the United States described some of the most excellent foods to help burn fat as antioxidants and their ability to regulate hormones the human body. Here are some foods that:

Green tea
. Studies have shown that regular consumption of green tea can reduce weight by eliminating fat. Catechin compounds in green tea are powerful antioxidants that fight free radicals and improve the health of body cells. One cup of green tea contains between 50 and 100 milligrams of catechins, and most studies show that you should drink about five cups of green tea every day to see the effects of fat burners.

"Actually not going anything if you drink it all day," said Jillian. "It keeps you hydrated, and you get enough antioxidants to fight cancer."

Omega-3 fatty acids. A daily dose of omega-3 fatty acids, either through supplements or natural sources such as salmon, can help in weight loss when combined with exercise, according to a study at the University of South Australia found. The researchers say that the omega-3 is a polyunsaturated fat that can increase fat oxidation, but exercise is also needed to reap these benefits.

Pistachio nuts. The simple act of replacing your salty snacks with pistachio nuts has been able to show a major change to your weight loss program. A recent study also showed that pistachios may improve symptoms of metabolic syndrome, such as high blood pressure, and improve insulin levels and blood glucose levels.

Pomegranate. This fruit has been shown to help burn fat in obese people and reduces inflammation in the body, so as to reduce the risk of heart disease and cancer. Some recent studies have even found that regularly eating pomegranates may help prevent obesity and diabetes in mice and humans.
